Fire Extinguisher Technician

We're looking for multiple roles, both experienced and inexperienced.

Job Description

• Service & maintenance of portable fire extinguishers.
• Dismantling of fire extinguishers and examination of mechanical parts.
• Hanging portable fire extinguishers and labelling as required.
• Installation of new portable fire extinguishers & required safety signage.

Previous Knowledge would be desirable but not essential as training will be provided:

• A keen eye to detail
• Physically fit & strong (extinguishers can weigh over 9kg which you may be carrying around throughout the day)

The Package:

Salary is negotiable dependent on the candidates skills and experience.

Fire Alarm Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team to carry out Installations and Maintenance of fire detection systems.

Job Description

• You will carry out various servicing, repairs, commissioning and reactive maintenance on Fire Detection and Fire Alarm systems, as well as small works and repairs to complete systems.
• The role would also cover Emergency Lighting systems and other associated safety systems, including all relevant documentation through the Company’s service system
• Ensuring an up-to-date knowledge of, and compliance with, all relevant British Standards is essential.
• Areas Covered: London, Essex, Suffolk, Kent, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire & Hertfordshire.
• Participate in the company call-out rota

About the Candidate:

• Applicants must have good client communication skills and be able to work as part of a team and on their own initiative.
• Experience in maintaining and repairing the fire alarm systems
• Experience in working with Kentec, Ctec, Haes, Advanced, Morley systems, and Gaseous Fire Suppression Systems
• Knowledge of BS5839 is essential
• FIA desirable
• Full UK driving license
• Good communication skills with the Office/Managers/Clients

The Package:

Salary up to £35,000 per annum, negotiable dependent on the candidates skills and experience.
