We are looking for a Senior Fire Alarm Engineer to help drive the company forward, develop processes and push for quality.

Whilst being the senior practitioner in the field, the role will be predominantly focused on project managing our installation team, including:  site visits to assess fire safety requirements, assisting with the preparation of quotations, customer liaison and all the way through to job completion. You will be supporting and assisting your team to ensure works are completed to a high standard, on time and on budget, working with the office staff to manage client expectations and communications.

You will also be providing additional support to the service department, providing guidance around services and small works.

You will be a key member (with the office Manager) of the Ops. Management Team – reviewing and assisting with workflow, resource management, efficiency and engineer placement.

Job Description

  • Overseeing and supporting installations of new or replacement fire safety systems
  • Field quality control
  • Point of reference for technical support for other engineers
  • Staff development and training
  • Supporting staff reviews
  • Mentoring with apprentices / trainees
  • Liaising with the operations team to assist with smooth running of projects and general work flow
  • Management of the call out rota

Progression prospects from this role are high with the next stage being a move to management and business development.

Although our office is in Braintree, Essex, our clients span across a wide area, including London, Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire & Hertfordshire.
